Pickled wick glass with fluorescent pet film artistic glass. This material combination transforms industrial materials into a vibrant artistic medium through the clever balance of natural light and manual intervention, making it very suitable for emerging scenarios in pursuit of innovation, sustainability and emotional design.
Pickled wick glass: The surface has a matte texture after acid etching, which weakens the strong reflection of ordinary glass and retains the light transmittance of the glass. The wick texture (similar to longitudinal stripes) can guide light to form a soft scattering, creating a hazy and warm visual effect.
Fluorescent PET film: The fluorescent material in the interlayer emits a soft halo or color gradient under the excitation of natural light (especially UV components), which contrasts with the matte surface of the pickled glass to enhance the sense of layering.
When the intensity and angle of natural light change with time, the color rendering effect of the fluorescent PET film will change accordingly (such as the morning light is colder and the sunset is warmer), giving the material a “live” visual experience.
The texture of the pickled glass further refracts light, forming a flowing light and shadow effect, similar to water ripples or silk luster.
Application scenarios:
Decorative walls or partitions: Background walls or partitions used in hotels, exhibition halls, and high-end retail spaces. Artistic light and shadow are presented under natural light, and the fluorescence effect can be enhanced with light at night.
Window, cabinet door or curtain wall decoration: While ensuring lighting, adjust the interior color through fluorescent film to create an immersive atmosphere (such as art galleries, cafes). |
